Jason M. Stahl, M.S. Ed. is a professional Entertainment Specialist with over a decade of teaching experience from Middle School to Community College. With teaching certificates in Arizona and Texas, as well as a Administrator Certificate in Ohio, Jason's mission is to help non-traditional certificated educators understand the need for pedagogy and fidelity in the technical classroom. Outside of teaching, he collaborates with various entertainment venues including streaming, lighting, photography, and graphic design to help accomplish many different technical goals with clients. He is currently starting the fall at San Diego State University to get his MFA in Lighting Design and expand the possibilities of students and educators he can help find a career related to entertainment. When Jason is not doing 100 different tasks for work, he is watching 90s/2000s shows with daughter, playing video games with his son, or building Legos with his partner.

As a classroom teacher, it can be difficult to fit everything you need to do to meet all the different sets of standards (Arizona Technical Standards and Adobe Certification Standards specifically). In this forum structured presentation, we will look at different strategies and alignments that are present in these standards and identify ways that work you are already doing align to the state and industry standards with minimal tweaking. Teachers are encouraged to bring in lessons they have previously done, but examples will be available for those in need of one.
