Mikayla Cerwinske is a marketing teacher and DECA advisor at West Point High School in Avondale, Arizona. An Arizona CTE and DECA alumna, she holds bachelor's degrees in sociology and marketing and a master's degree in secondary education. Mikayla began her career as a member of the Teach For America corps, teaching middle school English in a high-need school district. She is passionate about community engagement, inclusive education, and empowering students and educators to reach their full potential through meaningful, real-world learning experiences.
