Mrs. Rodriguez, Zully

Zully Rodriguez is a school counselor at Valley Vista High School, having recently completed her second year in counseling. With 14 years of experience in education, she spent the majority of those years as a Spanish teacher. She holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish literature from the University of Arizona, a master's degree in secondary education from ASU, and a master's degree in Counseling from Ottawa University. Over the course of her career, Zully has witnessed the evolution of educational technology in her school and among her colleagues. As a Spanish teacher, she was always dedicated to finding the best educational technology to support both her students and her peers. She carried this passion for technology into her counseling role, where she was recommended to share her insights on various platforms, particularly those involving AI. Zully’s expertise in both education and technology continues to enhance the school community.

Participants will learn what it means to be an ADE Purple Star School, how partnerships with military families and community organizations strengthen support systems, and how CTE skills can translate into real military career advantages. Attendees will leave with practical, empathetic strategies to better serve military-connected learners.
