Megan Reddell is a Secondary Transition Specialist for the Arizona Department of Education, Exceptional Student Services. Since 2008, Megan has worked in community and educational settings supporting individuals with disabilities in a variety of capacities. For 6 years, Megan served as a school counselor in Colorado and Arizona, where she found joy supporting students through their high school experience, helping them prepare for post-secondary success, and empowering them to discover and pursue their passions. Now, she seeks to use her experiences to strengthen systems and opportunities that will support all students in fulfilling and furthering their dreams.

Join ADE and Vocational Rehabilitation for a youth and young adult panel discussion. This session will provide information from schools that have successfully recruited and retained students with disabilities in their CTE programs, and allow students to share their experience with CTE and showcase how CTE influenced the pursuit of their career goals. Participants will leave this session with best practices strategies collected from educators, counselors, and administrators statewide that can be implemented at school sites to increase the inclusion of students with disabilities in CTE programs.
